Today

Work went well today. Not to many things to shelve, cut die cut flowers out of construction paper for my boss, brought boxes of new books down to the children’s department to be processed and that’s about it lol.

I also got a call while I was at work from a guy from a staffing company. He had seen my resume on my college’s website and had a job he wanted to recommend to me. The job is for some health care network and it’s basically entry level where I’d be researching images, sending out memos, need be etc… basically I gopher for them is what it sounded like to me. Which I get I don’t have a lot of experience yet so I’m not going to start at the top either, though I have a great education. Anyway it pays $14/$15 an hour and it’s full time. Which is more then I get now. But I’m still not all over it, I told the guy (who was very nice btw) to send my information over to the company anyway. If they like what they see they’ll get back to him and setup an interview. I really kind of hope they don’t call back. But if they do I’ll go for the interview anyway. Hey it doesn’t hurt right.

So enough about my life, how are you all doing today?

  1. mor-so answered: I go on every interview I get, even if I don’t like the job because it’s good practice. You have the right idea - :)
